My Pumpkin Harvest Painting is done on an 8 x 10" stretched canvas with wrap around sides. Rendered in acrylic paint with an oil base antiquing glaze, gives the painting a primitive or antique look, with the wonderful sheen that only oil paint can give. It is shown in a frame but the picture wraps around the edge so none is needed, I can add the a frame for an additional cost.
I love the naive style of art reminiscent of Rufus Porter. The background shops in done in several layers to get that antique feel. The foreground is actually dark green but looks almost black in the photos.

This is the original painting, not a print. The idea for the painting is from Betty Cathiness. I can do this style painting in larger sizes also. Nice addition to any folk art, or antique lovers wall!
