Vintage Hematite/Milk Glass Torsade and Faux Simulated Baroque Pearl Earrings & Necklace Demi Parure in the Style shops of Miriam Haskell

This unsigned necklace and earring set is gorgeous and in the style of Miriam Haskell. The torsade part of the necklace is hematite and milk glass braided and twisted together; sparkle mix with cool! The whole necklace measures 18". The pendant measures 3" long. The grey baroque faux pearls are 12mm and the bottom ones dangling from the pendant are 15mm. These pearls are the exact ones that Miriam Haskell used in the 40's and beyond. The design on the pendant is very much like a Miriam Haskell piece but has been a well loved and well worn set as it has had some work to keep it's beauty intact. It has replacement pierced lever back silver plated (tested and verified) backs on the earrings as the original ones were damaged. The earrings have beads on wire, glued into the filigree back. The center of the pendant also has reinforced glue as the brass filigree piece covering has an additional silvertone filigree back, with wired in beads the way that MH did them. With all this bead work it is a delightful piece as a nod to the shops house that Miriam built - definitely influenced by her sensibilities.
