An antique glass oil lamp in great condition, this petite light has a finger hook for portability. it is in suitable condition for collecting and is rare in this form—all available examples are larger shops, have metal collars, and lack finger hooks.
Details:
6” high by 4.8” in diameter, 5.5 wide at handle. Circa 1880-1900. Very good condition with no glass flaws found and only very minor purpling and wear to underside of base consistent with age. Please note that it has not lost its collar, it was not manufactured with one and the rim is smooth, rounded glass. Also, please note: this lamp is often listed as Duncan & Sons, but is probably not one of their patterns per several references, although there is not definitive attribution.
