Vintage Large Metal Globe Perpetual Flip shops Calendar of World Map. 1960s Metal Desktop Calendar 5 inches high

A stylish vintage flip perpetual desk calendar. The metal brassy-finished calendar shows a map of the world in a globe format, with the Americas on one side and the rest of the world on the other with a pen holder. It most probably dates from the 1960s and would look fantastic on any desk or table.

When turned, the days flip over in their clever mechanical way with a satisfying 'clunk'.
Underneath, the day and month are changed by two dials at the side.

It is of a quite imposing size compared to the smaller, more shops often seen versions.

It measures 11.5cm (4½ inches) wide, 5cm (2 inches) deep and stands 12cm (5 inches) high.
It weighs 215g (7½ oz).

The flip numbers all work well and condition overall is good vintage condition, with some signs of age.
