The ones you'd see selling at lower price are probably using regular rattan straws with young rattan being harvested before its time (so you might see some green tinted color variation), or doesn't have good craftsmanship, or roughly weaved, or using chemicals, etc.

The process of making the bags is natural. The bags are smoked with coconut husks for 2-3 days to achieve its tan color. The lining is made out of batik fabric which is a traditional Indonesian pattern, to add bohemian charm into your fashion collection. The rattan is tightly and neatly woven. It is great for any occassion, and especially for the beach.
