Walking barefoot on the beach, looking for beach stones to put my miniatures on, is one of many things I love to call "work", but than, it's more fun than work! As I saw this gorgeous shops black stone, I knew it'll be just perfect for my "dark" country houses, influenced by my summer vacation in Ireland. This little sculpture is a perfect gift for someone's office, adding a bit of a homey feel.
I used mixed clay which has beautiful (and unusual) texture and painted with oxides and some glazes. Just a little. Each part was made individually, painted and then got into my kiln. Only then, I glued all onto the stone. Gift for boyfriend, gift for husband, gift for dad, gift for boss.
Gift for a new home or for the office.
