Blue opal silver earrings, drop shaped opal wood gemstone shops earrings, blue gemstone, polished 925 silver, petrified wood

The cabochons I made for these earrings originate from a very rare and beautiful type of opalized petrified wood from Indonesia. These drop earrings feature teardrop shaped stones which are 1 5/16” long and 1/2” wide set in mirror polished fine silver bezels attached to sterling silver backplates measuring 1 11/16”long, 1/2”wide, and 1/4” thick. The total length of the earrings from the top of the shops ear wire to the bottom of the stone is 2 1/8”. All silver is mirror polished. If you are looking for something rare and colorful that will make a statement, these will be absolutely perfect!

I cut and polish all of the gemstones that I use in my pieces, and everything is hand fabricated using sterling and fine silver sheet and wire.
