THE ARTIST

Catherine Christiano is a painter that specializes in detailed representational work depicting subjects from her daily life and surroundings. She received her BFA from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in 2001 and has maintained a studio in Old Lyme, Connecticut since 1995. She illustrated the publication “Poverty Island” by Old Lyme Historical Society and designed the town seal of Old Lyme, CT. She has exhibited in various museums and galleries in Connecticut and New York, including Project 88 and the New Britain Museum of American Art.
