Klimoppe is a sporty wall fixture, that likes to climb your walls.

This wall fixture comes with shops a Moth lampshade. It also has:
- 2 wooden buttons + fixtures (bolts and plugs)
- a wooden stem
- 3,5 m textile cord
- porcelain socket, EU plug and switch.
(please note that customers outside Europe need to install a US plug or use a travel adapter)

The wall fixture is suitable for use with the Chestnut or the Moth.
With the wooden stem you can adjust the distance between the paper lampshade and the wall. The wooden stem stays in position because of the friction with the cord.

The length of the cord is 3,5 m. If you need more length please let us know.
The length of the wooden stem is 40 cm.

The dimensions of the moth lampshade are:
-20 cm / 7,9 inch height;
-20 cm / 7,9 inch diameter.

The lampshade and wall fixture are packages in a sturdy cardboard box. The porcelain socket is fixed inside the box to prevent it from moving.


How to install?

The lampshade and wall fixture is very easy to install. The wall fixture is attached to your wall with the 2 wooden buttons and fixtures. The paper lampshade is easily placed over the bulb.

With the wooden stem it is possible to determine the distance between the lampshade and the wall.



The story behind Klimoppe

Do you want to know how Snowpuppe came up with the wall fixture Klimoppe?
Snowpuppe got several requests to invent something to mount his lampshades to the walls of the houses of the other snowmen. He started to think about this, but realized that there were not many possibilities. On the Arctic, he could only get his hands on wooden buttons and wooden broomsticks. These were the only products that were locally produced by other snowmen.

On a beautiful spring day, he was finding a solution for another problem he had. Because of his activities with the lampshades he did not have much time left for ice fishing.
He had to think of a way to fish while being at home while folding lampshades. After a while he made a construction with the wooden buttons and broomsticks that he already had in his home.
He attached the buttons to his home and directed the fishing line through these. Every 3,5 meters he put a broomstick in the snow to further lead the fishing line to the ice hole where he usually went for ice-fishing.

Back home he realized that exactly this solution was also the solution to mount the paper lampshades. And so he made a design with these basic elements and decided to ask Nellianna and Kenneth to put it on Etsy.
