Stunning antique engraved Victorian silver plated Brittania ware three-piece tea set,tea pot, milk jug, sugar bowl, hallmarked, late 1800s shops
Antique Victorian three-piece tea serving set, beautifully aged with charm and character. Silver plated Brittania metal/ware, late 1800s. Beautifully shaped, ornately engraved with scrolls and decorated. The hinge, handles and bone knob on the lid are all in good shape, just some age-related trace of use, no dents, repairs, no cracking, but I have noticed it's not completely watertight. The interior have stained, tarnished and the silver plate has worn a bit on some areas on the exterior(grey), commensuratewith age. You can zoom in. All in all it's in good condition, has a good weight and a solid feel to it. This makes the set perfect for impressive displaying, e.g. with some dried flowers.
