Bodie Island Lighthouse, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, shops North Carolina

The Bodie Island Lighthouse in Cape Hatteras is 156 feet (48 m) tall and was built in 1872. The light has helped ships shops sail through the area known as the "Graveyard of the Atlantic" due to so many shipwrecks that have sailed by the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
