shops For your consideration is a hand carved soapstone Egyptian scarab. This vintage beetle sports hieroglyphics and measures about 3 inches in length and 2 inches in width. It stands about 1.75 inches tall. As can be seen in the photos, some of the carving along its underside is wearing smoother from age.

Considered lucky, scarabs were considered a sign of renewal or rebirth. This symbolic sculpture would make a wonderful addition to your desk or bookshelf or even nestled in a potted plant.
