A butterfly shaped cloisonne enamel belt buckle. The inner cut out motif features flowers and leafy scrolls with enamel colors of blue, white, red, pink and green. The base is stamped brass. It will fit a belt up to 1 3/4 inches wide, the exterior dimensions of the buckle are 2 1/2 H x 3 W. It would probably be best suited to a cloth buckle. It dates to the 20th century. CONDITION: Good. A few tiny areas with shops missing enamel. The back belt bars are slightly bent.
