old Wagner Ware Sidney O Magnalite cast aluminum 8 quart roasting pan. Wagner Ware Sidney –O– Magnalite cookware was the prominent brand of cast aluminum of the day, and began in 1934. The stylized design included the art deco-style domed lid and handles, and the brand name referred to the combination of magnesium and aluminum for which the pan is made. Wagner Manufacturing Company was a family owned manufacturer of cookware founded in 1851 located in Sidney, Ohio. The pan has the lovely Magnalite stylized logo on the bottom, the style 4265M, and was made sometime between the 1930s and 1970s. This piece has an 8-quart capacity and is in nice used condition with no cracks or major flaws, and it sits flat. The surface shows normal discoloration and marks from years of use, which is common for a piece of this age.
