Black Stoneware Deep Brown Yunomi Tenmoku interior and lip. signed Japanese Style Tea Cup shops artist George Watson

A very nice black stoneware yunomi with tenmoku shops interior and lip. The exterior is a very dark brown, almost black, with incised and indented design work. This is a hand formed piece (not wheel thrown) and has a very nice feel in handling. The interior and lip is a dull matte surface, while the exterior is a nice satin with flashes of soft gloss areas. It has a very nice shape, and the design of the foot interior is a unique hand carved face design. This, and all of my pieces, are absolutely one of a kind. It measures 2-3/4" across the top, is 2-7/8" high, the foot is 1-5/8" diameter, and the weight is 7.8 ounces. It is in new, perfect condition. Signed with my mark.

I take close up photos to show all the detail, and to give you as accurate a look as possible, and the various size pieces all fill the photo in a similar way.
