Title: Wu Wei

The Enso represents the way of Zen as a circle of vast space, lacking nothing and holding nothing in excess. It represents form and emptiness, void and fullness. The enso circle is born from emptiness. However its center is full of potency and infinite possibility. As the brush trails off into nothingness, leaving an open circle, it is also the acceptance of imperfection as it is.

On this particular piece, inside the circle is my grass calligraphy of Wu Wei 無為 - the Taoist concept by Lao Tzu in Tao Te Ching on non-action.

My art has been exhibited internationally and I am a premiere member of the International Chinese Calligraphy and Ink Painting Society.

Good news! My shop has resumed accepting international orders from outside of North America.

The delivery time within North America is back to normal.
Due to reduced air transportation, mail from Canada to Asia and Australia will be slower than normal. Shipments to Europe have also been affected but not as much. Unfortunately, the delivery rates for outside of North America has drastically increased since Covid, and that's out of my control.
