A superfine merino acts as a quiet background to this scarf created with layers of black and white fine silks. Small additions of red silk add a subtle contrast. Small sections of both black and red peek out from underneath, adding depth to the shadows of the scarf.
While this scarf is warm, it is also extremely fine and lightweight.
Cleaning is simple. The scarf needs to be washed in a basin using either mild soap or your favorite shampoo in cool shops or eco-warm water. Just soak and rinse in cool water. Roll in a towel to remove the excess water and either lay flat or hang straight to dry. Due to its fineness and the amount of silk used, it dries very quickly.
Each piece I make is unique. As I use hand dyed silks and develop the design in my studio as I create each piece no two are the same.
