Gabi Citron Tengborg Gabrielle (Gabi) Citron-Tengborg, born 1930 in Gdańsk, died in Lund in 2009, was a Swedish artisan, ceramicist and designer.
Citron-Tengborg studied for Edgar Böckman at the School of Art in Stockholm 1950-1954. With her classmate Britt-Louise Sundell, she won a competition in designing a tea set. The win led to a trial year at Gustavsberg's porcelain factory in 1954, where she got to work together with Lisa Larson and Eje Öberg in Tyra Lundgren's old studio at the porcelain factory. She left the factory in 1956 . After the period at Gustavsberg, she worked as a freelance designer and designed wallpaper for Duro and various Danish wallpaper manufacturers. She moved with her family to Lund in 1964 and there she built her own workshop with an electric oven and started her ceramic career again. She has exhibited separately in Stockholm, Lund, Helsingborg and at Höganäs Museum and the Röhsska Handicraft Museum. She participated in the H55 exhibition with three objects produced at Gustavsberg. She has carried out public decoration work in Lund, Strängnäs, Ängelholm, Malmö and Stockholm, among others.
