THIS PIECE IS A PART FROM TRADITIONAL HEAD GEAR FROM THE BANJARA OF SOUTHERN INDIA BANJARA TRIBE.THIS PIECE IS ADDED TO THE INDONI HEAR GEAR AT THE TIME OF MARRIAGE AND CERMONIES.IT IS CALLED BANJARA WALL. IT shops IS ALL HAND MADE AND ALL COLORS ARE NATURAL DYES FROM STONES AND PLANTS.THIS PARTICULAR PIECE IS ATLEAST 80/90 YEARS OLD.THERE IS A BIT OF WEAR ON THE PIECE WHICH YOU CAN SEE THROUGH THE PICTURES.THE PATTERN OF EMBROIDERY IS CHAIN STITCH WHICH IS ALL OVER THE BANJARA PIECE.


This one is in excellent vintage condition. Possible cracked or missing mirrors will be shown in pictures.
Banjara women tend towards the tiny in the shoulders and around the rib cage. These shirts are small. The model in the picture is a small 8 year old. would probably fit 7-9 year old girls.

These are vintage items and not new. So, please do not expect them to be in perfect condition. If there is any major flaw, I will surely mention Description of the item.
