This is a stunning silver plated bowl with lions heads holding the handle rings and tiny clusters of grapes across the top. These were used to chill glasses of wine in the 18th century and onwards. This bowl is marked Block & Bridle 1976 on the bottom. Block & Bridle is a profession fraternity in the field of animal husbandry founded in 1919. You may be able to find out more about this piece. It's beautiful, well made & heavy! Measures 5” in diameter and 3 1/2”H This would be beautiful displayed shops with flowers.
