Ethiopian opal necklace sterling silver necklace for women fire opal jewelry genuine opal necklace tree shops necklace natural opal pendant
Intricate tree necklace in sterling silver with Ethiopian opal single drop in the shape of a pear fruit
An extremely intricate and lifelike delicate sterling silver tree with one solitary Ethiopian opal pear hanging from it ... a totally natural stone which will exhibit a rainbow of colour flash.
The opal has been expertly wired onto the tree with fine sterling wire.
Welo Ethiopian opal comes from the Welo mine in Africa and is a type of precious opal. It is a relatively recent opal find and is a one location gemstone, supplies of which are becoming increasingly rare.
I have copy certification of independent testing of these stones and reported provenance.
The opal is from a strand of AAA+ quality stones which are PETITE but exhibit amazing flashing colours. The photos are taken in electric light and shaded daylight. They have been taken to best display the colours in the opal ... but please note that what the viewer sees depends on the angle of view and the type of light. I think the stones show best under electric light but others prefer daylight.
I would say this is a MEDIUM BUT DELICATE pendant.
Each purchase comes in an attractive presentation box with a ziplock bag and anti-tarnish tab for long term storage ... to keep your jewellery in the best condition for longer.
Made by a skilled artisan with over 15 years experience.
