Frippery ~ red & black patchwork textile cuff bracelet with antique shops buttons and moth ~ shabby tattered handstitched ooak

This wrist cuff is loaded with vintage and antique fabrics and trims, glass beads and glass buttons. Many hours were spend hand stitching bits and pieces chosen from my collection shops of textiles and old glass treasures. I painstakingly built a kind of mini crazy quilt for your wrist, created using velvet, lace, ribbon, appliques, antique jet beads and sew-on nail heads. Many of these were salvaged from Victorian era dresses and trims.
The only newer things I added are the moth print and the elastic that closes the buttons, and the damask print cotton lining.
This is a 5" wide cuff and it measures about 7" long. The elastic doesn't stretch much farther than around the buttons, as to give a snug fit.
