The elastic along the bottom is loose and does not stretch. Easy to replace. The yellow side of coat has stains. Unsure if the stains come out because I haven't tried. Stains aren't visible if you wear yellow on the inside. I believe the down didn't dry well after last wash hence the spotted stains on the yellow side. No stink. It's a very warm yet lightweight jacket.
