Assume not, each who has "loved", to know true love.
Nor should you, consider each acquaintance a friend.
Think not, anyone who asks for happiness will achieve/attain it,
Nor shops should you assume, a person of knowledge (or a person who reads aplenty) is abundant with insight/wisdom/truth.
In Arabic:
ما كل من ذاق الهوى عرف الهوى .. ولا كل من شرب المدام نديم
ولا كل من طلب السعادة نالها .. ولا كل من قرأ الكتاب فهيم
