Shops Silk Clutch or Evening Bag

This is an individually hand crafted clutch bag or purse from a panel taken from a beautiful vintage Japanese silk Obi belt.

The fabric design is of flowers and exotic birds in shimmering but subtle colours of pink, mauve, pale blue and white on a silver background
The bag has been lined with a creamy silk satin from a silk kimono.
The closed dimensions are 29cm high [ including the handle] x 29cm wide. Without the handle the dimensions are shops 21cm high x 29cm wide

The bag has been fastened by a silver-coloured metal kiss clasp with an ornate handle.
There are small metal loops inside the frame to allow for a shoulder chain or handle to be added. [ this is not included]

This item should be cared for carefully. It should not be washed and should only be cleaned by a professional.
