Beautiful blue milk shops glass /slag glass bottle, made by 1880s Atterbury & Co, c1888. It is in the woven panel pattern which repeats itself 3 times around the jar.

The jar is embossed on the bottom “Patd Apr 3- 88”. Design Patent No. 18,218 issued April 3, 1888.

It measures 4" tall x 3 1/2" diameter widest point x 1 1/2" diameter top. The opening is 1" diameter.

The jar is a stunning turquoise blue glass. I can't believe it is in such an amazing conditionfor being from 1888. Please see pics as they are part of the description. Absolutely beautiful.

It is in great antique condition. There is a line that I can feel on one side that I tried to show in the pics. It is so light that it barely shows. I honestly don't know if it is a fracture or a straw mark, as there are lots of swirls and lines in this slag glass. But I want to mention it and am pricing accordingly. No other damage.

This gorgeous jar was once used for talc or other household product. It could be used as a lamp base, floral vase, or for bath salts. It displays beautifully. Gorgeous rare jar.
