This was the professional standard "normal lens" for the Olympus OM manual focus system which includes the OM-1/OM-1n, OM-2/OM-2n/OM-2s, OM-3, OM-4/OM-4T, OM-10, OM-G and OM-PC cameras. The optical construction is 7 elements in 6 groups. The lens has an 8 blade aperture which is free of any oil or rust and works properly. The parture range is F1.4 to F16 and the filter size is 49mm. The minimum focusing distance is 0.45 meters or 17.7" and the lens weighs 235 grams. The lens includes original front and rear caps. The lens has a great reputation for sharpness, contrast and resolution. It will work well with any Olympus OM mount film camera or can easily be mounted on a digital mirrorless camera with the proper adapter (not included).
