Let it spaghetti snow! This is really a magnificent 1950s piece! The angel has heavy white spaghetti trim around her hood, the hood pom-pom, collar, cuffs and coat trim. I don't believe weather affects an angel one bit, but just to be festive, this angel wears a long bright red coat with peaked hood. Under the coat she wears a light green gown. Just to keep everything coordinated, she also wears light grren mittens. In her hairs she bears a wreath and two gifts. She is bringing Christmas greetings as well, as the wreath banner reads, "Merry Christmas", and the two gifts read, "Blessings" and "Joy". It is great blessings we have that bring us great abiding joy and then our hearts can cry out, "Merry Christmas" and really mean it! She has two very white wings with gold embellishments. There are two white spaghetti flowers at the back of the wings near the planter opening. There is a large planter in the back of this angel that is enveloped in her lovely coat. The angel itself has platinum white curls that surround her rosy cheeked face. She has upside down 'V' shaped eyebrows, big eyes, and a smiling mouth. A very beautiful piece.
