APPLES and PEARS in shops a low blue BOWL

sketched and painted alla prima(2 hr). Blue bowl, red and yellow fruit are favorite kitchen colors. A grocery purchase that was irresistibly inspiring to sit down with my watercolors and render my vision of these beautiful and delicious looking fruits. I believe I was painting in my mind as soon as I saw the colors in the blue bowl. The painting flowed for me, it was meant to be. I love the results, and the spontaneity of the brush movement.
