A 1920's felt cloche hat This 1920's felt cloche has a flapper art deco style to this hat which I think would be great to wear for a winter wedding, or any special occasion so a great addition to any wardrobe.
My hats are all handmade and unique. No hat is exactly the same. I build on the classic hat designs and add my own ideas and I draw on my creativity to fashion unusual quirky hats.

This hat is made to Order so shops please let me know the color preference you prefer and your head size.

♦Every hat I make is a unique piece, therefore, if I make more than one of the same design yours will be unique in itself, because it is hand-made. Your hat will, of course, be very close to the original in the photograph, so you can be assured the hat you order will be what you receive. You can order the same design in different colours or request your own variations, if you wish.
My hats, whilst warm, are extraordinarily light so will not feel heavy on your head, and they are available in many styles and colours.
Each hat is unique so there will be slight differences to the one you see in the photo but we can come close to the original.

Wool felt is one of the oldest known textiles and it is thought to have been created some 5000 years ago in Asia. Warm but lightweight, wool has balanced thermal insulation properties, which means that it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Most people would not think of wearing a wool hat in the sun but, in fact, a wool hat will protect your head in the sun whilst not making you overheat. Wool is also hypoallergenic being resistant to bacteria, mold and mildew that can trigger allergic reactions. My hats can easily be cleaned because the outside surface of the wool fibre consists of a series of overlapping scales (similar to the feathers on a bird) which means that dirt sits on the surface of the fibre, making it easy to remove.
