The stitching is mixed with yellow, orange, and brown to mimic a firebird or phoenix . A few scuffs here and there that can be buffed out, nothing major to the leather upper. Only the bottoms show use of regular old walking around (oh, and maybe dancing!). Not new but still good. If you are a 9.5 in womens Ariat, then you won't be disappointed. Take advantage of buying pre-owned and don't worry about it. Ariats are a tough, long lasting boot that hold up for a good long while. I have some that are my absolute favorites that I have had for over 10 years, and they are still going strong. So the bottoms show use..the tops, sides, backs, all look great.
