Vintage Imperial Carnival Glass ‘Twins’ Marigold 6" Ruffled Berry Bowl shops Cir 1900

This beautiful iridescent Marigold color Imperial Glass ‘Twins” pattern 6” ruffled berry bowl has an interesting feature; the glass came out of the mold so hot, that the edges of the ruffle slumped as the glass artist at Imperial used a paddle to create the ruffle. Was this bowl's ruffler a new glass artist?

The bowl does not have an even ruffle around the design, so it shops shows the hand of the glass artist experimenting at the factory - making this a very unique piece! And the color of this piece is quite bright with a lovely rose radiance.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Amazing for the fact this pattern is from the the early 1900's.
