Antique 1907 The Paris Sketch Book soft leather bound book by William Makepeace Thackeray (author of Vanity Fair). This book has a pretty greenish and gold decorative spine from Nelson and Sons, and is Vol V of a larger New Century Library set, The Works of William Makepeace Thackeray.

The Paris Sketch Book is a collection of witty pieces written for various journals that shows Thackeray's insight into both English and French character. This book also includes The Irish Sketch Book and Notes of a Journey from Cornhill to Grand Cairo.

There is some wear shops and discoloration on the cover, spine, and pages, but book is in good condition for its age. This book measures about 6.25" x 4.25".
