Nepalese dragon - shops a vintage eye-catching gilt brass dragon with coral and turquoise bead decoration, from the Kathmandu region of Tibet.

NEPALESE DRAGON

A vintage gilt brass dragon from kathmandu, Nepal. The figurine is profusely decorated with turquoise and coral.
The head is a separate piece inserted on a spigot which allows it to revolve to your desired position. The feet are also separate and can be be adjusted to find a stable position. This style of work is also found in neighbouring Tibet.

Date: Mid 20th Century.

Condition. Good condition. Nearly all of the stones are intact.
