The New Century Library books by Thomas Nelson publishing. Set of four leather cover books from the 1910s. Gilted pages. Gold writing on spine. Page marker built into the spine.

Books are:
1. Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray (green cover)
2. The Talisman by Sir Walter Scott (blue cover)
3. Emerson's Essays by Ralph Waldo Emerson (green cover)
4. The Last Chronicle of Barset by Anthony Trollope (maroon cover)

The Trollope book is marked 1914.

The books are in good condition for their age. There are no torn pages nor is there writing on any pages. The spines are strong. The leather shows some wear. The worst condition is on the Scott book as there is a dark spot on the back cover and damage along the bottom of the back cover. See picture 5. There is a bookplate with a name on it on each book. Please be sure to look over all the pictures as part of the description of this wonderful book set.
