These are so very pretty and quite an unusual style for screw back earrings which were popular shops from 1894 to 1934. These earrings have a rhinestone covered "glitter ball" at the top and below the glitter ball is a round hoop. Attached to this hoop with tiny wires, are many lustrous white faux pearls. I tried to count them; I think there are 15 on each earring. The pearls measure 7mm in diameter. The metal screw mechanisms, as well as the round hoops, are created with a dark bronze colored metal. These earrings are in extremely good condition given their age. There is no damage and very minimal wear. The rhinestones are all prong set; they are all present and clear. There are no missing stones; there are no dark or cloudy stones. These earrings measure 1-1/2" x 1-1/2". NOTE: Due to the design, these could easily be convered to post or clip on earrings.
