This Dragon Stone ring is a statement piece! It makes for a great index or middle finger adornment. It does have some weight to it, so be sure the size is accurate for you, otherwise I'd be concerned it would flop from side to side on your finger.
I have done a bezel and shops prong setting combination on this piece. The Stone has also been reinforced with an industrial glue.
The band is a lovely gold vermeil, antique spoon handle. There is a picture of Christopher Columbus and writing below that says “Columbus”. There is also a date...”1492” :)
We all remember the song, right?
(Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492).

- This ring is sterling silver with a gold vermeil band.

- I have oxidized areas to give contrast.

- The silver/gold vermeil has a fine, brush finish.

~Jewelry Care~
This piece is oxidized. No jewelry cleaners or ionizing machines should be used on it. A quick shine every once in a while with a polishing cloth should do the trick!
- Avoid swimming or showering with your jewelry. Metal does not respond well to moisture, so avoid storing it in a humid area (such as your bathroom).
- Jewelry should be put on AFTER any lotions, make-up, hair products or perfumes are applied.
- To reduce tarnishing, store your jewelry in a sealed, plastic baggie when not being worn.
- Changes in body chemistry can effect the tarnish rate on sterling silver jewelry. Amino Acids in the perspiration contain sulfur or sulfides and the presence of sulfur or sulfides accelerates the rate of tarnish. Changes in hormone balance during adolescence or change of life in women have been known to change the body's chemistry. Medications or chemotherapy can also affect body chemistry. Some cosmetics and skin lotions can also accelerate tarnishing in silver or lower karat gold jewelry.
