Heavy Sterling Silver Carved shops Tutu Ring

I carved this hearty sterling silver ring originally out of a block of wax, and then cast it in recycled sterling silver. It's thick and rustic and would make a great everyday statement ring. Durable and comfortable, it's just about perfect. I oxidized the recesses to a dark black and polished the highlights to make the top parts really shine. It looks like a tutu, no??
