Hand cast into that silicone mold using a mixture of fine sand, cement, concrete color, water.Then demolded, hand detailed using fine metal instruments, hand colored using a mix of concrete color, and finished with a water based concrete sealer for a smooth, polished look and feel. Keisha is the first African American planter I designed. I was inspired by my family, my African/Caribbean ancestry. She is as beautiful as a Queen and that is often how I think about her every time I look at her in my home. Big, piercing eyes,beautiful full lips, strong features and a her radiant presence, makes her a truly original piece of art. She looks great in any room in the home, such as a kitchen counter top or window sill, a bathroom vanity, a hall way, in the middle of a dining room table or outside on perched on a rock, a log or a front porch.
