Vintage shops and Handmade Sports Theme Baby Crib Quilt/ Baby Room Decor/ Soccer, Football, Basketball, Hockey Baby Quilt/

Handmade but not by me, this charming vintage baby quilt is crib sized measuring 48” x 36” (122 x 91 cm). It is comprised of 12 panels each featuring a different machine appliquéd sport related image (hockey, basketball, soccer, football and jersey numbers etc.). Individual layered details of each picture are added using a very tight machine zig zag, and a hand stitched outline is applied for contrast. It is backed in a solid baby blue colour and bordered in blue gingham. It is hand quilted in a diagonal shops stripe.

The quilt is not new and shows age appropriate fading but is free of tears or holes. The hand top stitching is slightly snagged in a couple of places.
