This is a perfect sized lap quilt, or crib quilt. The quilt top is pieced using hexagon shaped cream and 1930's reproduction fabrics in various colours. The backing fabric is an off white cotton with a delicate floral pattern.
The quilt was completed using edge to edge quilting with swirls and leaves. The blue border fabric was quilted in a leaf pattern using variegated blue thread. There is a thin red piping accent added to the inner edge of the blue border.
**All my quilting is done free motion or with a ruler for straight edges. No computer quilting.
