A beautiful, Victorian mourning brooch in the form of a shops crescent moon (either denoting the end of the lunar cycle / death or the beginning of a lunar cycle / rebirth after death). The brooch is sterling silver, with black enamelling to the front set with a row of 12 half seed pearls.
The brooch is 4.1cm end to end and is 5mm across at it's widest. It is in very good condition.
