This amazing vintage lantern is an authentic vintage Dietz Little Wizard with a beautiful embossed red glass globe.
Dietz lanterns have been around since 1915 and are still being produced today. The newer lanterns feature decals on the globes, whereas the original vintage lanterns have embossed glass.
This beautiful piece has a wonderful gray-blue coloring with LITTLE WIZARD N.Y. U.S.A in raised lettering on the base. The wonderful red glass globe is embossed with the same and also includes the Dietz oval logo.
The piece is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks in that beautiful globe. The metal base has the usual signs of wear with some chipping paint and some minimal rust. The piece has been wiped down but it could benefit from a thorough cleaning.
This original vintage piece displays beautifully and would be a wonderful addition to your vintage décor.
