GORGEOUS Vintage Diamond Thumbprint Open Compote in Plum by Viking Glass. -Circa: 1970's -Status: DISCONTINUED, no longer in production, rare, difficult to find. Highly collectible. -This Plum colored Diamond Thumbprint open Compote is only shown in the 1972 Viking Catalog, The plum color diamond thumbprint pattern was only in production less than 1 year. -Viking Reproduced the Old Sandwich Glass Pattern "Diamond Thumbprint", some but not all of these pieces, have the capital letters SM embossed on them, those with this mark were made in limited numbers and for a short period of time. -Measures: 4 3/8" shops tall x 7 3/8" diameter x 4 1/8" base. -Condition: Excellent vintage condition! No nicks, chips or damage of any kind! It looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL!.
