Pair of shops Vintage Amethyst Footed Bowls with Sterling Overlay

shops This is a pair of Vintage Black Amethyst bowls measuring approximately 6 ½” in diameter and a 1 ½” in height. Both are overlaid with Sterling Silver and are marked (see close up photo). No chips or cracks but one has a small section of the roping where the silver has been rubbed off. Over condition is very good. I have seen a lot of Amethyst items but have not seen any with Sterling overlay marked the way they are before.
