Vintage Gold and Crystal Set shops Salamander Brooch

A Gold Plated and Crystal Set Salamander Brooch. The salamander is set with faux diamonds, aquamarines and emeralds with shops beautiful detailing on the legs and tail. The brooch is in excellent vintage condition and the pin-catch is in good working order. Historically salamanders represented immortality, rebirth, passion, and the ability to withstand flames. From nose to tail measures approximately 8.5cm, 2cm in width (excluding legs).
