Coyote, shops Acrylic Abstract Original Painting

Coyote is an abstract landscape inspired shops by a hike in the Utah desert. I created layers of warm hues along with contrasting turquoise, adding marks, creating a fluid movement.

If anyone has hiked or backpacked Coyote Gulch, you'll know the desert-y hike into the gulch (hot, open, bright, there might have been vultures), then this magical entrance of the gulch. The temperature drops, there's green vegetation, WHAT'S THAT SOUND? A STREAM OF WATER???, deer tracks-- so much life in there. I did manage to get a bit lost on my way back with only a little water.... but that's for another day.
