A strong woman is the guardian of water and the keeper of dreams. She holds a dream catcher. The dream catcher allows good dreams to pass through and the bad dreams are caught in the web. She holds shops close to her many totems. The angelfish symbolizes fidelity, hope and love. The seahorse symbolizes the role of father as it is the male seahorse that carries the developing eggs and gives birth. The turtle symbolizes longevity and awakening. The snail shell portrays protection while the snail itself symbolizes devotion, consciousness and determination.
All of my spirit dolls are made with a bit of my heart and soul. I bring them to life from the very beginning until I have finished the final sculpture. I start with making the head and from there I figure out what qualities they possess. Every single part of the spirit doll is deliberately made and chosen. The spirit dolls often take a year or more to finish. I do other projects in between. But, always the process of finishing is in my mind, heart and soul. I hope you like and enjoy.
