The story behind the picture:
Myna felt the motionless silence fall around her, it meant the suit was about to begin again. Over the uncountable number of years, this moment always brought with it a claustrophobic weight of sadness whilst capillaries of excitement creep in through the weary gaps in her mind. This sensation could be attributed to the now slowly whirling soul jumping suit as it draws in more dark matter, but this was not the case. Millions of years of viewing the universe through the souls of other had taken its toll on her. There was always a conflict in that she understood so much about the deeper parts of life whilst yet not being able to full experience what her hosts or soul bearers could. Still, this was her world, her universe. The souls bearers or viewers, as she called them, knew little of what she experiences and this comforted her in that they too were like shops her. There was so much they just couldn't see, so much they will never know even though they feel it there before them.
The desire to jump home, to reconvene with the others in a bath of shared consciousness so she could laugh and cry in equal measures at everything they'd known burned bright like colliding stars as she and the suit jumped once more.
All works are original and created by me using Unipin Fine-line pens ranging from 0.03mm - 0.3mm and a brush pen. There is a 2cm bleed around the image for framing purposes.
