The pieces are made by a local designer in Kastamonu Turkey
The pieces are printed originally on special and natural cotton cloth called 'Patiska' or ‘Amerikan Bezi' by using wooden molds which are made by hand-carving from the lime tree. Paint patterns are made by madder. These traditional handicrafts are made in Kastamonu since the 17th century. Popular figures are lonely deer, couple deer, Hittite Sun which are symbolizing historical values.
